I asked for a sample in shade 13 and 14 (as I wasn't sure what shade would fit me best, the assistant only had shade 13 so I just got a sample of that) - it's called Sienne, matches my skin perfectly, light weight, doesn't feel heavy, doesn't feel like you're wearing foundation, all those grubby make up marks I used to leave on paper or my doors at home - they are no more. I'm really happy with it.
There is a distinct fragrance to the foundation which did smell quite strong the first time I used it, I think I'm used to it now, I even like it, I welcome the smell.
I don't know if it lasts 24 hours but it lasts a very long time without leaving my face really oily. I have very oily skin (as in so oily I can wipe my face and use the oil to cream my hands) - yes I know. Ok ok slight exaggeration but it's oily darn it and I'm tired of it. This foundation doesn't need to be re-touched or anything which is great because I really am not one for carrying a make up bag around. Too much effort.
There was a 10% off sale in Debenhams and I was contemplating buying it but decided not to - I wish I had bought it now because once this sample finishes I will definitely need to buy it. The sample is only supposed to last 7 days, its lasted me 3 weeks and counting. Really impressed with this. I really believe everything Lancôme has said about this product.
I was previously using Revlon ColorStay in Cappuccino and Mahogany (I've not picked either of them up once) - maybe when I want more coverage I'll use them but for now - its all about Lancôme!
